Build, Lead, & Succeed · The Podcast
The more successful you get, the fewer people you can be honest with.
A podcast for founders, hosted by Lyn Askin. It’s the room where you finally get to tell the whole story, and you hold the off-switch on what the world hears.

What This Is
Here’s something nobody warns you about building a business. The more successful you get, the fewer people you can actually talk to about it. You can’t tell your friends, because it sounds like bragging. You can’t tell your family, because half of them didn’t think you should do this in the first place. And you can’t tell your team, because you’re the one who’s supposed to have it all figured out.
So you carry it alone. This show is that place. Every episode, Lyn sits down with a founder and they walk the whole story: where it started, back when nothing was figured out, the climb, the valleys that never make it to LinkedIn, the moment things turned, and where they ended up.
Two Things Make It Different
You get to brag.
If you’ve built something, you should get to say so out loud, to someone who knows exactly what it cost. We don’t shrink the win here. We sit in it.
You hold the off-switch.
Be completely honest and hold nothing back. After we record, you decide what we publish. Nothing leaves the room unless you say so.
The Moment
Somewhere in every conversation, Lyn stops the two of you. He asks his guest to look back at the person they were at the very beginning, the one with no idea if any of this would work, and to really feel how far they’ve come. Almost nobody gives themselves that.
There’s a Chair Here for You
If you’re building something, this show is for you. Come tell the whole story: the wins you’re proud of, the mistakes that taught you everything, the price you paid that nobody saw. You are not as alone as it feels.
